Rethink Group extends IRP advocacy programme

The decision to roll out the programme to Consort means that all Rethink’s consultants – in the UK, Ireland and Singapore – are not only individual members of the IRP but also undertake its training and development programme.

Michael Bennett, director at Rethink Group, commented, “It is paramount that organisations looking to hire staff have confidence in the integrity and professionalism of their supplier - which is why we offer all of our staff IRP membership. In 2013 we became the first recruitment group to roll out the programme to our overseas operations, so when we acquired Consort it made absolute sense to offer it to them as well.

“And as a firm committed to attracting and retaining the very best talent in the market, we know how important it is to ensure we offer the very best training and support – something that being an IRP Advocate helps us fulfil. I have no doubt that Consort staff will benefit from the programme just as much as our other staff have done over the past few years.”

Lola Puddephatt, director at Consort, said, “When we joined Rethink Group we were pleased to learn that everyone was IRP accredited - it confirmed our perceptions that they take recruitment seriously and do business the right way. I was also impressed with their approach to on-boarding my team. They’d invited in the head of the IRP to take us through exactly what it is and explained the importance behind us being accredited. The team was really engaged and some of them have already made plans to use this at client meetings and include it within their sales collateral.”
