Stevie award winners named
Stevie winners were selected from more than 3,700 nominations from more than 60 nations. The Stevie Awards will be presented to the winners as part of the gala banquet on 23 October at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Toronto, Canada.
The Stevie Award is widely considered to be the “Oscar” of the business world.
Among British companies, the leading winner of Gold Stevies is the public relations agency Weber Shandwick, with four. Weber Shandwick have also won a Grand Stevie Award for winning more awards than any other public relations agency in this year’s competition.
Foxtons, MapAction and Thomsons Online Benefits won two Gold Stevies each. Also among the Gold Stevie winners are Adlens, Amira Nature Foods, ClearPeople, De Beers Group, Green Flag, Jimmy Choo, La Fosse Associates, P2, Puma Energy, Ramsden International, Safetybank, TAG Talent Artistic Group, Visa Europe and William Hill PLC.
Winners of Silver and/or Bronze Stevie Awards include 101, Allstate Northern Ireland, Ashley Community Housing, Bakkavor Group, Bellenden, BJSS Limited, BCSG, Elixirr Partners, Gate One, Globoforce, Home Retail Group, Housekeep, ISG plc, Jellyfish, Language Connect, Larkfleed Group, MyCheck, Octavian Continental Limited, Olapic, Origin, other creative, Outlook Publishing, Pathways Community Interest Company, Rapiergroup, Say Communications, Silobreaker, Stephen Gill Associates, TAG Talent Artistic Group, The Body Coach, The House Crowd Limited, Totaljobs Group, Ubisense, Weatherford, and Webmart.
More than 200 executives worldwide participated in the judging process this year to determine the Stevie winners. "We are pleased to once again honour many of the world’s best organizations, professionals, and their achievements," said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
