APSCo Awards for Excellence winners announced
These coveted annual awards recognise and celebrate achievement in the recruitment profession and are a major indicator of professional standards throughout this sector.
Commenting on the awards, Marilyn Davidson, director of APSCo, said, “As the only awards in the recruitment sector that require shortlisted businesses to attend a Q&A session, they are without doubt the most onerous, demanding and perhaps most challenging out there. I’m sure that the independent judges, who included representatives from the CIPD, found it challenging to pick winners from the reams of outstanding entries.
“Indeed, sitting through the judging day it was very clear to me just how much the recruitment sector has grown and matured in recent times with all shortlisted companies – from SMEs to large international consultancies – demonstrating clear and comprehensive strategies for their business. All entrants should feel very proud of their hard work in what can only be described as the most fiercely contested awards to date.
"One reoccurring theme in this year’s submission was the acute need to acquire – and retain – talent to facilitate future growth. This mirrors the findings of the latest APSCo Deloitte Recruitment Index, which also reported that issues surrounding talent management were hot on the recruitments agenda."
