Chartwell continues expansion, acquires Georgia staffing firm
Based in East Hempfield Township, Chartwell said its existing Atlanta staff will merge with the Victory team in Hiram and eventually move to a new office.
Since April, Chartwell has been providing staff to Atlanta's bakery manufacturers and warehouse industry. The Victory acquisition will add plastics, window, aviation, automotive, precast concrete, construction and pharmaceuticals manufacturers to Chartwell's client list, the company said.
"This acquisition gives us a great platform to continue our growth in the metro Atlanta market," Chartwell owner Tracy Kidan said in a news release.
Chartwell recently opened offices in Lower Paxton Township, Edison, N.J., and Sumner, Wash. Its other midstate locations include Lancaster, York, Gettysburg and Chambersburg .It plans to open several more New Jersey offices in the next few months and expects to open a Seattle office in the next year.
Last March, the company quadrupled in size when it took over most of the operations of Corporate Resource Services of New York City, with branch offices in Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Reno and Salt Lake City.
With 45 offices in 13 states, Chartwell anticipates double-digit growth in the next year and plans to open a new office every month.
