Discovery ADR Group appoints client relationship director

Stockton has held major roles in FTSE 100 companies including National Grid plc, Kuehne-Nagel and PwC where, as director of Talent Acquisition UK, she led the team that won and retained the Times No. 1 Graduate Employer Award for five consecutive years.  Stockton was also a Board member and VIP for the Association of Graduate Recruiters for 12 years, and has been a consultant for a global RPO to banking, utilities and universities.

Jonathan Evans, founder of Discovery ADR Group, said, “I couldn’t be more pleased that Sonja has joined our team as our Client Relationship Director.  Sonja has a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering global talent management programmes for FTSE 100 companies and will play a vital role at Discovery as we continue to expand our business.  Having worked across banking, manufacturing, utilities and education Sonja has an in depth understanding of our clients who range from SMEs to multinationals and will be able to deliver exactly what they require.”

The Discovery ADR Group offers a highly tailored approach to the recruitment and development needs of its clients which goes well beyond the traditional methods.  Discovery’s personalised approach and retention figures which significantly buck the national trend have attracted a raft of new clients and investment from Finance Birmingham’s Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP fund.

Stockton said of her appointment, “This is a very exciting time to be joining Discovery ADR Group and I’m looking forward to working with the team as we continue to grow and to deliver ever better results for our clients.  I am passionate about finding new ways to discover and develop talent from within an organisation, and from outside.  Discovery has a wonderfully diverse client base which is growing every week and it will be a privilege to work with them all.”

Over the summer, the Discovery ADR Group moved to city centre offices at the heart of Birmingham’s Colmore Business District as part of the company’s long term growth strategy which will see the business double over the next three years.  Founder, Jonathan Evans, says the move was central to the future success of the business.  “Discovery ADR Group is very much a part of the Birmingham business community and our move into the Central Business District is just one part of our long term growth plan.  Having bigger offices in a central location will allow us to further expand our business network in the heart of Birmingham while we continue to support the talent pipeline in the local area and beyond.”

Clients of the Discovery ADR Group include engineering firm Hayward Tyler, Clipper Tea Ltd, Merlin Entertainments Group, Pernod Ricard, Gatwick Airport and Molson Coors.
