PageGroup highly commended at US Global Mobility Awards
Held in San Diego, the awards recognise the company’s Global Mobility programme & lsquo;Unlock your Potential’ and the dedicated team behind it, which provides consultants the opportunity to grow their careers abroad with PageGroup.
Richard Vickers, regional managing director at PageGroup North America, said, “With 39 years of recruitment expertise, 17 in the US and nine offices established across the country, this recognition of global mobility further cements PageGroup’s position as one the industry leaders in the US market.
“Unlock your Potential helps our consultants and managers to pursue international career opportunities and experience new cultures and surroundings, all with the support of our dedicated global mobility team.
“Since its launch in 2012, the robust programme has provided a smooth and stress-free relocation process for employees with various improvements. We have included different elements to tax briefings in certain regions, created employee checklists and Q&As, increased leave entitlements, contracts terms, length of housing accommodations, amongst many other things.”
PageGroup currently has over 100 consultants relocating internationally on an annual basis and provides development and succession planning programs through quarterly appraisals, coaching and people management training using 360 degree feedback.
Craig Thompson, managing director of Michael Page Boston, said: “I recently located from South Africa to the US with my wife and two year old son. Despite the geographic distance between the two countries, the relocation was professionally handled and stress-free from a professional and personal standpoint. This is my second country move with PageGroup and I am proud to work for a company that places such a high priority on the happiness and comfort levels of its employees.”
