Crown Computing to launch Open Options HR and Self-Service module at CIPD

The company will unveil Open Options&trade HR, a fully integrated HR solution and the new Self-Service module on stand C66 at the CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition.

Open Options&trade HR has been designed to automate and improve HR processes by supporting decision making and strategic planning, and facilitating better employee communications. It provides visibility of an organisation’s workforce makeup and costs to aid accurate analysis and decision making, the HR team to manage human resource data in the way that is most effective for their business.

The company is also launching a new Self-Service module that allows employees to access their key work related information from any browser or platform via desktop, mobile or tablet. This will allow staff to undertake administrative tasks such as applying for annual leave, completing and reviewing timesheets and requesting overtime, freeing up HR personnel for other duties.

Both Open Options&trade HR and the Self-Service module have been designed to integrate seamlessly with the other modules in the Open Options&trade suite of software.

Open Options&trade is a comprehensive workforce management system designed for medium to large organisations that integrates with all popular finance, business, HR and payroll systems. It is fully scaleable so is suitable for virtually all organisations and is particularly effective in addressing the complex business requirements usually associated with large organisations who have multi-site operations, multiple contracts or who use agency staff. 

It features a comprehensive workforce analytics dashboard that is able to show real-time employee data such as absenteeism or overtime costs. This highlights potential trends, issues and problems before they arise, allowing staffing adjustments to be made accordingly.

It can be used remotely for mobile workforce management and features telephony for time registration as well as dedicated access control which can be used across multiple sites. This together advanced time and attendance workforce scheduling and activity management capabilities can increase efficiency of the workforce, reduce overtime and help with absence management.
