Ettain Group acquires IT staffing firm
Ettain said the acquisition will enable it to grow its presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and to improve its support for national customers. Timberhorn employees will retain their jobs and continue to operate out of their current location. Ettain said its local employees will share offices with Timberhorn in early 2016.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Not only do they bring deep IT staffing knowledge and a wide variety of clients in different industries, but their culture and leadership match exceedingly well with ours,” Jeff Harris, Ettain’s chief executive officer, said in a statement Monday.
Ettain launched in a founding partners’ living room in 1996, when there were just a few IT staffing firms in Charlotte. The firm specializes in recruitment and managed services in IT, health care IT and creative sectors.
Timberhorn offers permanent and temporary staffing and specializes in application development, business intelligence/data warehouse, enterprise resource planning solutions and mobile solutions.
The combined company will have more than 1,300 employees and consultants. Currently, Ettain employs more than 500 people in the Charlotte area.
