GKS Associates celebrates its first birthday
Woodford commented “the appetite for a recruitment marketing specialist has been larger than we anticipated.” Woodford explains that the two areas where the company see the highest demand is from “businesses who want top level strategic support and tactical implementation advice to support existing marketing functions, and also from companies who want to outsource a large part of their marketing function to someone who & lsquo;gets’ recruitment and understands the technicalities of it.”
Woodford estimates that 80% of the business comes from retained work whilst 20% comes from people wanting one-off projects. The core principles which Woodford believe sees GKS’s success are value and knowledge. “It’s not about pretty colours, fonts, feathers and glitter done properly recruitment marketing is about supporting the sales (and the consultants) within the company, with an eye on the ultimate business goals of the board/owners, all of the time focusing on a strong ROI. It’s not for the feint hearted or bubble-gum marketers of other industries!”
With many recruitment organisations in growth mode, GKS Associates hope to see increasing demand for their services.
“The backing and goodwill we have had from the industry has been spectacular” added Woodford “We are extremely grateful.”
