ID Medical raises over 700 for Children in Need
ID Medical supported the annual campaign with a company & lsquo;dress down’ day, where staff left their suits at home and donated a minimum of £2 each. In addition, the medical recruiter adopted a youthful fundraising approach with a classic game of & lsquo;Guess how many sweets in the jar’, where staff donated £1 per guess for the chance to win the jar of treats.
With almost £19,000 donated to charities in the past two years, ID Medical is on track to achieve its fundraising target of £20,000 by the end of 2015.
To date the UK’s corporate charity, Children in Need has had phenomenal support from schools, organisations and individuals across the UK and raised over £740 million. This has enabled Children in Need to make grants to voluntary groups, community projects and registered charities who offer practical lasting support to children and young people to ensure they have a childhood that is safe, happy and secure and allows them the chance to reach their own potential.
