Infinity awarded cranfield university temporary agency & staffing services contract
This win follows Infinity’s appointment onto the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium’s (SUPC) Temporary Agency & Staffing Services (TASS) framework as the number one supplier for the provision of a Neutral Vendor Service. This lot is a new addition to the TASS framework for 2015, following recognition that the approach could add significant value to its members’ resourcing needs.
Cranfield University, having previously used a traditional Preferred Supplier model, recognised the need for a different approach, with a new and fresh thinking partner, in order to achieve their future objectives. It was vital to ensure that they both maintained a proactive and quality service to customers, whilst keeping engagement costs to a minimum.
Simon Gibbs, Procurement Project Manager, says, “A Neutral Vendor model is a completely new concept for the University, however we felt the right partner could give us the transparent relationship, quality and responsiveness of supply, and time and cost efficiencies we were looking for”.
David Thornhill, Infinity’s CEO, comments: & lsquo;Securing this opportunity to partner with Cranfield University is a significant win for Infinity. Our philosophy is People First and we strive for positive outcomes for all our stakeholders our clients, workers and the broader community.
“However, a fundamental dimension of our model is attracting and supporting small and medium sized recruitment businesses with an engaging payment model to ensure they are fully committed to and able to benefit from the approach. We believe this is the real difference in delivering our clients a robust resourcing model for the future.’
