Translines charity challenge is a knockout!
Following a successful month of ferocious fundraising, which saw the international recruitment agency’s workforce raise more than £20,000, the grand finale event has added a further £5,000 to this total.
Transline’s two nominated charities are Teenage Cancer Trust and Overgate Hospice, and the teams on the charity challenge day also split the £5,000 donation between the British Heart Foundation, Air Ambulance and St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield.
The charity challenge finale involved six teams battling it out amongst giant inflatables in bizarrely-named games such as human demolition, the try line tussle and human sheep herding.
Chris Birkby, operations director and driver of the Charity Challenge Month, said, “It was impressive to see the effort and enthusiasm thrown into the charity challenge month and it definitely paid off - the donations flew in and our grand finale event was a huge success and a lot of fun!”
Jon Taylor and Paul Beasley, joint CEOs of Transline Group, said, “It’s great to see our staff right across the business doing their bit for the community. It really shows what we can achieve when we come together as a team.
“We are all delighted with the difference we have been able to make to our nominated charities and are already looking forward to our next Transline charity drive!”
