WRS launch global Managed Services division
WRS' specialist marine division has won a contract with a major offshore support services provider to manage crewing requirements for a number of vessels.
To bolster delivery capabilities, WRS has appointed Donna Watson to its operational board where she will lead capabilities in her position as head of marine Managed Services. Watson is based in the company’s Abu Dhabi office.
Watson has a wealth of experience within the marine sector and has played a vital role in crewing and human resources at many global marine and oil & gas support services companies.
She said, “It’s a real pleasure to join WRS at this critical time, as the company enters the next stage of its development. We shall be getting our teeth into some exciting projects in the coming months and the service we provide to our clients will be the key to success.”
Mark Brown, WRS’ managing director, said, “Donna has all the credentials to leverage WRS' position as a world leader in marine crewing services. We have further developed our capabilities and infrastructure to deliver both service and cost benefits to clients globally - Donna's appointment and our international expansion forms part of our long-term strategy and we will continue to make such investments in spite of challenging market conditions demonstrating our commitment to the sector in the long term. I speak for all of WRS’ senior management in welcoming Donna to the team.”
“WRS’ Managed Services division brings together many of WRS’ core offerings, giving clients the option to outsource entire projects or disciplines. “This new offering means as a business we are able to align Account Management, Global Mobility and Support Services for our clients, providing an efficient and streamlined process that offers significant cost benefits at a time when cost cutting is on most companies’ agendas.”
