Funding deal creates recipe for success for catering recruitment business
Gloucester-based Cambray Catering is preparing for its next stage of growth, including new jobs, having agreed a funding deal with Ultimate Finance.
Former head chef and patisserie expert, Robert Cambray, founded the company in June 2014 and quickly assembled an experienced team that has worked across the full spectrum of jobs within the sector. This has resulted in the company rapidly establishing an excellent reputation within the trade for correctly matching the skills of the individual with the particular vacancy.
To facilitate the rapid growth of Cambray Catering, a £125k invoice factoring agreement has been agreed with the Bristol office of Ultimate Finance. The facility will help free up cash flow, enabling the company to take on additional personnel and increase its portfolio of clients.
Regional director of Ultimate Finance, Alastair Logan, said, “Robert is typical of many SMEs insofar that the growth of the company can be stifled because it needs to release cash that may be tied up in invoices for as much as 90 days. Unfortunately, high street banks do not always recognise the potential in companies and many are still reluctant to lend to them.
“Successful SMEs, such as Cambray Catering, are the lifeblood of this country and as such deserve financial support.”
