Lawrence Harvey on a mission in the USA
Following a nine-month incubation period from their headquarters in London, Lawrence Harvey Group has landed in New York.
The team consists of home-grown talent, all top performers in the UK business, and is led by senior divisional manager Michael Bott, one of Lawrence Harvey’s first ever employees.
Now, with the full sales and operations team on the ground, client demands have meant the focus for Bott and CEO Tom Glanfield is immediate growth and so, a vigorous recruitment campaign ensues. The USA arm will be focused on building the company’s life sciences brand, alongside its already established technology business. The internal recruitment team are searching for an experienced life sciences manager to drive the business in the U.S, mirroring the sector structure in the UK and Munich.
Bott says he is passionate about building his team in New York and knows the importance of not only hiring the right talent, but supporting individuals throughout their careers, providing personal growth and development and ongoing opportunities.
He said, “Our target for 2016 is to grow the team from seven to 20 consultants. We have this fabulous new office overlooking downtown Manhattan and hot desks in SAP / Big Data and Analytics. We truly believe in bringing people up through the ranks at Lawrence Harvey, so as well as actively seeking the best consultants out in the market, there will always be opportunities for consultants in the UK and Munich business to relocate. Since I joined as a graduate in 2007 my career has been nurtured by Tom and everyone at Lawrence Harvey. After building successful teams in the UK and, being a bit of an entrepreneur, I dreamed of moving to America and starting a business from scratch. LH has allowed me to achieve that goal. My advice to anyone choosing a business to join, is even if you’re not thinking about relocation now, you may be in the future. If you’re looking for a life changing career, LH provides real opportunities for personal wealth and professional success.”
