New branch pays dividends for Wiltshire recruitment company
According to Julian Thompson, managing director at 24-7 Staffing, the opening of an office in Amesbury was a strategic decision, where the business was planning ahead.
He said, “Amesbury is a smaller town for us to be in than our other two offices, but we chose it because there are 2,500 more homes planned to be built here in the future, along with allocated employment land. Neighbouring Tidworth is also the site of one of the Ministry of Defence’s new super garrisons, which will bring a large military population and their families into the area.
Amesbury’s 24-7 Staffing is managed by Shane Stevens, together with consultant Beverley Winning, who have many years’ recruitment experience between them and have plans to recruit more staff.
24-7 Staffing specialises in providing permanent, temporary and contract staff for the driving, industrial, commercial and healthcare sectors. It is an accredited centre with JAUPT (Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training) for driver CPC training, and also has training provisions for its industrial, commercial and healthcare sectors, as well as First Aid training. The company’s head office is in Chippenham, and it has another branch in Yate.
