RSG opens Dublin office

RSG is ending 2015 on a high with the opening of its first-ever office in Ireland, completing 12 months of European expansion and continued growth.

This year, under its Sanderson brand, the organisation opened in Munich and Reading. Its Irish office in Dublin brings its total number of sites to nine, including its HQ in Bristol.

Irish operations will be overseen by Sanderson Ireland managing director Donal O’Donoghue, who will be heading up a growing team of Dublin based recruiters.

O’Donoghue, who has worked in recruitment in Ireland for 20 years, said, “It’s an exciting time in Ireland with a steady increase across the jobs market and the Government announcing ambitious targets for 2025 to ensure the country has the highest working population in its history.

“Sanderson is perfectly placed to cater for all aspects of this growth and to support both candidates and clients in creating a sustainable workforce that underpins a strong and growing economy.”

Chief executive Mike Beesley said 2015 has been one of the best since the business started in 1975, with other highlights including jumping 15 places on the Sunday Times Fast Track 250 list and surpassing turnover targets to reach £240m.

Beesley praised the company’s 200-strong workforce for their continued support.

He said, “I am immensely proud of the team and what they have accomplished through diligence and hard graft. This can be seen in both our continued expansion both in terms of geography but also as a core business.

“When we set out to expand within the EU we decided to take an organic stance and looked to utilise local knowledge and people who shared our vision in places and markets that were showing signs of strong economic growth.

“This has paid off and we are delighted to be ending the year with our new office in Dublin and heading into 2016 with a view to evaluating further opportunities for development over the coming 12 months.”
