Warren Partners appoints director
Laurence Vallaeys has joined Warren Partners as a director, where she will work closely with the team to further strengthen the firm’s capability in senior executive and non-executive roles in the FMCG, retail and leisure sectors.
Vallaeys’ track-record spans both executive and non-executive placements, including chairs and CEOs. She has more than twenty years’ experience in assisting board and divisional boards, to identify and recruit senior UK and international leadership talent.
She has worked with many high profile global organisations to place senior executives in country P&L roles and European VP positions, as well as executives spanning strategy, commercial, marketing, digital, multi-channel and business development disciplines.
Vallaeys has a particular interest in challenger brands, owner driven businesses, private equity backed ventures and SMEs; her track-record here includes chair, NEDs, CEO succession, CMOs and commercial and international development appointments.
Her last role was with CTPartners, where she was a partner in the global consumer, retail and hospitality practice. In 2002, she set up the European Consumer and Leisure Practice at Odgers Berndtson, where she led the practice for seven years, before launching a CMO practice at a boutique search firm.
Vicky Lawton, managing director of Warren Partners, said, “We are delighted that Laurence has joined Warren Partners. She has extensive experience of working with Boards, both in the UK and internationally. We knew straight away that her client and candidate focus, collegiate style, high standards and her deep interest in the ‘right culture fit’ would make a great match. We are excited about the additional capability that Laurence will bring.”
Vallaeys said, “Warren Partners offers what I was looking for: a firm which applies rigour to every search project, a personal touch, the audacity to challenge and a devotion to improving the whole experience for clients and candidates alike. I am proud and delighted to be joining their close knit team.”
