Construction agency secures £100,000 funding

Essex-based construction recruitment company, Mansion Recruitment Limited, is set for further growth after agreeing a new £100,000 facility with SME bank Aldermore to boost business and lend further support to the UK housing market.

Mansion Recruitment was launched in February 2015 and is run by recruiter Carl Webb. Webb already supplies staff to a range of clients from major blue chip firms to subcontractors. The business’ new finance facility with Aldermore will enable them to meet growing client demand.

Webb said, “Since setting up the company earlier this year, we have seen a significant increase in demand for our services. The enormous shortage of houses and commercial buildings in the UK is well documented and as the nation works to fix the problem, demand for labourers and skilled workers in the construction sector is rising. It’s clear that this rise in demand will continue into 2016 and with Aldermore’s support I’m ready to make the most of those opportunities.

“The process of securing funding from Aldermore was very straightforward and the rate I was offered was really competitive. There’s always someone available when I’ve had any questions and the support I’ve received so far has been great.”

Iain Hendry, regional sales manager, invoice finance at Aldermore, said, “Carl offers a personal service that stands out from the crowd. He knows the construction sector well and has already established a strong client base, which put him a great position to further grow Mansion Recruitment.

“Aldermore is an SME focused Bank offering growing support to the housing and construction sector, whether we’re helping first time buyers get a mortgage or providing loans to house builders. Our new relationship with Mansion Recruitment means Aldermore is supporting some of the areas we most value – UK SMEs, the local jobs market and the construction sector. We look forward to seeing Carl’s business go from strength to strength over the coming years.”
