Datum RPO secures £3m contract with construction specialist
Datum RPO has secured a three-year total recruitment solutions contract with construction and civil engineering group Britannia valued at £3m.
Worth approximately £1m per annum, the outsourcing solution involves Datum RPO managing Britannia's suppliers of permanent and temporary resource on a vendor neutral basis.
Datum RPO’s managing director, Raymond Pugh, said, "Britannia Construction required a solution to effectively manage its engagement of temporary resource needs, for which Datum proposed a process that not only minimised risk, but delivered long-term value to the business.
"We're seeing a significant increase in organisations wanting to address the issues surrounding their temporary resource requirements but without understanding how to go about it. Companies are looking for partners who are ahead-of-the-game in providing solutions and who can also give impartial advice. Understanding our clients' business model and their goals is part of our DNA and a key reason for our success."
Kevin Harris, head of business services for Britannia Construction, commented, "Managing recruitment effectively is a consistent demand within our business and has been a challenge for a number of years.
"With an ever increasing burden of legislative compliance surrounding our temporary resource engagement process and a growing shortage of candidates, we knew we required a more effective management solution. This is why we decided to outsource the controlling of our temporary resource management to professionals who have a proven-track-record and clear understanding of our business. We believe that Datum is the right fit for this and will deliver exactly what we need."
