Giles Daubeney appointed deputy CEO of Robert Walters
Robert Walters has promoted Giles Daubeney, chief operating officer, to deputy CEO, with immediate effect.
There are no plans for Robert Walters, CEO, to leave the business.
In his new role as deputy CEO, Daubeney will be working more closely with the chairman and the Board, taking a more active role in the company's strategy and its engagement with the City and investor relations. Daubeney will also maintain the responsibilities of his previous role as COO.
He commented, "I have worked closely with Rob for 28 years. There is no change to Group strategy and as well as retaining the responsibilities of my previous role as COO, I will be focused on working more closely with the Board on strategy and investor relations."
Daubeney has been with the company for 28 years, having joined in 1988 after working in recruitment for Accountancy Selection Limited and Badenoch & Clark.
