Jonathan Lee Recruitment wins award for services to motorsport industry
Jonathan Lee Recruitment has won the MIA Service to the Industry Award at the MIA’s Business Excellence Awards.
The event, which took place on 14th January, saw 500 guests from across the globe come together to recognise the achievements of the motorsport industry over the past 12 months.
The Stourbridge-based organisation has more than three decades of experience providing candidates to the motorsport industry. It became a member of the MIA more than ten years ago and has played an active role in many of its events and initiatives over the years, including supporting industry initiatives such as Formula Student to inspire the motorsport engineers of the future.
Chairman, Jonathan Lee, commented, “Over the years, we have developed a comprehensive understanding of the motorsport industry and the skills and talents it needs to continue to thrive. This, combined with our knowledge of the broader manufacturing and technology sectors, means we are well-placed to support the MIA’s initiatives to bring fresh talent to the sector as well as helping members to grow their own markets by providing the skilled engineers they need and helping them to connect with other industries.”
Paul Branton, business development manager for Jonathan Lee Recruitment’s motorsport division, added, “The motorsport industry is both an exciting and a highly disciplined environment in which to work. It requires a high level of commitment and involvement to deliver the world-class people the sector needs to remain a global leader in technical innovation and we are extremely proud to have had our services to motorsport recognised by this award.”
MIA CEO, Chris Aylett, said, “The quality of the entries was incredibly high and we’d like to congratulate the entire motorsport supply chain for the continued passion, drive and commitment to excellence which ensures global renown.”
