Morson marketing manager shortlisted for ‘Marketer of the Year’

Morson Group’s marketing manager, Orlagh Bibby, has been shortlisted for Marketer of the Year at the 2016 CIM Marketing Excellence Awards.


The CIM (The Chartered Institute of Marketing) Marketing Excellence Awards are an annual event created to highlight, celebrate and promote excellence of individuals, teams and agencies within the field. The Awards are open to any organisation within the UK regardless of size, sector or industry.


Morson says that Bibby was nominated for Marketer of the Year for her efforts in bringing Transformational Change to the company.


In addition to delivering the Transformational Change project, Bibby was also studying for a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing, which she completed in September last year.


Speaking about her shortlisting, Bibby said, “I am delighted to be shortlisted for Marketer of the Year. It’s incredibly rewarding to be recognised for working hard. I would love to win, especially for my team; their support has been invaluable in delivering this project.” 


Chris Daly, acting chief executive of CIM, commented, “It’s a pleasure to announce the finalists of the Marketing Excellence Awards.


“The point in these Awards is to remind us why we do what we do, and to demonstrate the impact that creative and well-delivered marketing can have across businesses.”


Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on April 14th at Grovesnor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
