Houston energy specialist merges with South Carolina engineering agency
Cenergy International Services, a Houston-based staffing firm that targets professionals in the oil and gas industry, has merged with South Carolina-based HKA Enterprises, a staffing firm that specialises in engineering, technical and other skilled craft.
The combined company will take a new name, Cenergy Partners, and will be headquartered in Houston. Cenergy Partners will have offices on three continents.
Cenergy CEO June Ressler and HKA Owner Marvin Anderson will retain positions on the board, while Jeff Miller will be the president of the combined company.
Talks of a merger between the two companies have been ongoing for roughly a year, according to Cenergy spokesperson Laura Long. Combined 2016 revenues are estimated to be right at $450 million, said Long.
