HR GO appoints four directors
HR GO Recruitment has appointed four senior members of staff.
Cindy Hare and Angela Smith have recently been appointed by chairman, Jack Parkinson, as commercial directors. The company say they will be responsible for leading new recruitment initiatives, developing business opportunities and managing the branch network in the North and South regions respectively.
The company has also appointed Jo Anne Smith as director of the company’s headquarters in Kent, and Scott Treacher as director of the driving division.
Hare, Smith and Treacher have all had long careers within HR GO Recruitment, while Smith joined last summer from her position as managing director for Office Angels to establish HR GO Recruitment into London and the South.
Smith said, “HR GO Recruitment is a strong brand, with a heritage going back almost 60 years, and the opportunity to grow permanent placements across all sectors, including engineering and IT, to become one of the biggest contributors to profits is what excites me.”
Hare added, “We’re all feeling really positive and upbeat.
“From a really strong foundation of results in 2015, we have recently expanded into the events sector and we are building up really good momentum in the ‘perm’ market.”
Parkinson commented, “We’ve developed a management team that I believe has the right mix of experience and skills to make the most of the strengthening recruitment market. Our ability to connect with a local workforce together with our flexibility as an organisation has helped us to win major national contracts such as G4S and Carillion over the past year and we’ll be aiming to consolidate and build on this in 2016.”
