Kamanchi appoints MD
Kamanchi, a recruitment technology consultancy, has appointed Guy Deterding as its new managing director. He succeeds Raymond Pennie who will remain as a non-executive director.
Deterding has spent nearly 30 years in IT, with 20 of those in CIO positions and the last 13 specifically in the recruitment sector. He has had long-term roles at MPS Group (now part of Adecco) and FiveTen Group, followed by a switch to interim strategic advisory work for Phaidon, Cielo Talent, and Tradewind Recruitment.
Deterding said, “I’m delighted to have this opportunity.
“All those years ‘in-house’ have afforded me, coming into this new role, a healthy degree of empathy with, and understanding of, our customers. I’ve been in their shoes.
“I can use that insight to ensure we keep our professional services wrap - from software to support, development to training – fully aligned with the needs and expectations of the modern recruitment business. Kamanchi has already built an excellent reputation for service delivery and adding value, and I’m looking forward to helping more firms benefit from our approach.”
