Randstad Innovation Fund invests in gamification pioneer
Randstad Innovation Fund (RIF) has joined Pymetrics’ Series A financing with Mercer, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. and Khosla Ventures.
RIF says the investment seeks to accelerate the development of Pymetrics, which uses big data, neuroscience and gamification to draw personal career and job recommendations.
Based on a combination of simple games of about two minutes each on a web or mobile interface, Pymetrics collects millions of data points and measures 90 dimensions, across cognitive and emotional traits.
Paul Jacquin, managing partner of RIF, said, “Pymetrics is at the forefront of data science which gives graduates and job seekers powerful insights into their career and job opportunities.
“Quality of hire and diversity greatly benefit from an unbiased understanding of a person’s profile.”
Frida Polli, CEO and co-founder of Pymetrics, said, “Pymetrics looks to revolutionise talent management with the application of technologies.
“The support of Randstad Innovation Fund both financially and as thought leader in the HR tech space is important to help us achieve our mission towards better diversity and career fit enabled by data science.”
