Recruitive candidate applications up 9% YoY
According to Recruitive, January saw a record number of job vacancies advertised via its cloud based multi-posting software.
The company say that, at almost 9% higher than the previous record of October 2014, January’s figures stood 45% higher than those of December 2015. The number of permanent jobs advertised increased by 41% compared to December, and the number of temporary jobs advertised more than doubled.
Richard Clarke, managing director at Recruitive, commented, “The number of candidate applications received in January also increased by 41% compared to December which is a 9% increase compared to January 2015.”
According to research from Investors in People, nearly half of the UK workforce will be looking for a new job this year, as the economy improves. Clarke added, “This would explain the increase in the number of applications and also why we have seen a rise in the number of enquiries from employers looking for help managing high volumes of applications. Our software automatically acknowledges every application and can create shortlists based on a candidate’s suitability, using advanced parsing technology.”
