Express Rail Services wins staffing contract
Express Rail Services, which was acquired by Berry Recruitment Group (BRG), has won a major contract to supply temporary workers and permanent recruitment services to The Go-Ahead Group.
Express Rail Services says it will be providing staff for many roles, including crowd management, security, customer services and station workers as well as on-train and rail depot staff.
The contract, which is for a minimum of three years, means Express Rail Services will provide temporary, permanent, interim and fixed term staff across hundreds of sites throughout the UK.
Justin Ayling, Express Rail Services’ manager, said, “Being part of BRG was vital for us in winning the contract.
“The group’s nationwide network and wider recruiting expertise meant we were able to go up against some of the major names in recruitment – and win.
“We have ten staff at our central London offices and this contract means we are likely to be taking on more recruitment consultants.”
