ManpowerGroup named on America’s Top Corporations Women’s Business Enterprises list
ManpowerGroup has been named on the 16th annual list of America's Top Corporations for Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs).
ManpowerGroup earned a platinum distinction, reserved for companies in the top quartile that are setting higher standards for best practices, while driving innovation in all areas supporting WBEs.
Pamela Prince-Eason, president and CEO of WBENC, said, "We are so proud of WBENC's Top Corporations, including ManpowerGroup, for choosing to set the standard for access and increase opportunities to women suppliers in new markets – both domestically and internationally.
"WBENC-certified businesses in turn are able to fuel innovation and empower communities through economic growth and job creation."
America's Top Corporations for Women's Business Enterprises is the only national award honouring corporations for world-class supplier diversity programs that reduce barriers and drive growth for women-owned businesses.
Kip Wright, senior vice president of Manpower North America, commented, "ManpowerGroup has long been a promoter of diversity and gender parity, so it is an honor to receive this recognition from the Women's Business Enterprise National Council.
"When women represent half of the global talent pool yet remain largely underutilized – especially in leadership roles – we need to do everything we can to ensure women can participate in the workforce."
