Pure donates £1,900 to young people’s charity
Pure Resourcing Solutions is going to donate £1,900 to Ormiston Families, a charity that provides services to support children and young people in the East of England.
The money was raised by Pure following an anniversary quiz held at the Novotel Hotel on Thursday 3rd March.
Pure is celebrating a decade since the agency first opened its Ipswich office. To mark the occasion, the team has created the #IpswichBig10 anniversary campaign and pledged to complete a series of different events to raise money for ten local charities this year.
The fundraising began at the charity quiz night which was attended by 32 teams from local businesses including Grant Thornton, Capita Mortgage Services and Haven Power. The overall winners were a team from RSM with each winning team member being presented with a bottle of champagne. The event also included a raffle to raise further funds with prizes including a twilight spa prize for two people at the Ufford Park Hotel in Woodbridge.
Paul Sheldrake, manager at Pure’s Ipswich office, said, “We’ve been hosting charity quiz nights for many years, but last night’s event was extra special as it was also a chance to mark our 10-year anniversary. It was a fantastic chance to celebrate with clients past and present and to enjoy some friendly rivalry in a battle of the brains. Our thanks go to everyone who attended or contributed in some way. It has given us an excellent start to our fundraising anniversary campaign designed to help the local organisations which provide invaluable support to people in need.”
