The event, which is being held at the Museum of London, is free to attend.
Rullion says it has organised this event following the Government's plans to remove tax relief on Travel and Subsistence expenses for temporary workers.
At the event, Rullion state that the following will be covered:
What’s it all about?
When can tax relief on T&S still apply?
The implications for umbrella companies and the temporary labour market generally What are the timescales?
Who is liable?
What are the alternatives? PAYE and AWR?
How to engage workers with Rullion or other recruitment businesses and remain compliant
Attendees will have the chance to ask the panel, which includes Robert Burton, Ernst, and John Chaplin, Ernst Young, any questions relating to their organisation.
Julia Kermode, CEO of The Freelancer & Contractor Services Association, told Rullion, "It is essential for the whole supply chain to understand the forthcoming legislation changes and the impact that this will have on the flexible workforce. Recent FCSA research suggests that just 35% of hirers are fully aware of the changes, which is a concern, given that it is their workforce that will be affected. We are seeing many new untested approaches evolving in the light of legislation change, and there is reputational risk of being associated with non-compliant practices, so it is vital to know the difference."
