Stott and May to open The Inventing Hub
Stott and May has announced plans to open The Inventing Hub.
According to the company, this academy will give individuals with limited or no recruitment experience the proper grounding in a range of key topics across target markets including, cyber & information security, infrastructure & cloud, finance and tech sales.
Stephen Stott, CEO and founder, commented, “Experience doesn’t have to dictate your future career path. Charlie was an unconventional pick to take over Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, but he had the character and the personal integrity needed to come out on top.
“Every firm has consultants. I want innovators, magicians, and miracle workers, and there’s no template for that. Security in particular needs recruiters with the right knowledge, but they also need to be able to forge creative solutions. The Inventing Hub will concentrate on both.”
Stott and May says its academy sector experts will be leading the sessions, which will familiarise enrolees with several relevant industries. For example, in the wake of several high-profile system attacks, information and cyber security roles are in high demand – and now represent 14% of vacancies across the entire IT recruitment market. The curriculum will include workshops, classroom sessions, and seminars – all with theoretical and practical elements, including instruction in the day-to-day realities of the sales floor.
