Airswift partners with DEWA and UKTI for UAE clean energy event
Airswift has partnered with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and UKTI to host a networking event on upcoming projects in the UAE.
The company says the invite only event, which will take place on the 15th of April at the Park Lane Hotel, London, will see over 100 senior decision-makers from across the water, energy and environmental sectors come together to discuss opportunities in the region.
Hosted by His Excellency Saeed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA and vice chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Airswift states that the seminar will highlight $21 billion of large scale projects and tenders in Dubai in line with the country’s energy strategy. The projects will cover a range of areas such as water management, solar power, cyber security, renewable energy and innovative technologies for sustainable development.
Airswift is holding a market entry workshop at the event, discussing the importance of workforce solutions and the global mobility options available to companies expanding into the region.
Albert Kahlow, delivery manager for UAE at Airswift, said, “We’re thrilled to be a strategic partner for this important event that will showcase future DEWA opportunities to suppliers. Dubai’s vision is to source 25 per cent of its energy from clean technologies by 2030 and to achieve this it will need to obtain the right skills, talent and expertise from companies worldwide. Airswift can assist companies expanding into the region through our global mobility solutions, including immigration, mobilisation and employment services.”
DEWA is a part of the Dubai Government, which generates electricity and water for city of Dubai. The Emirate aims to be the smartest and most sustainable city in world and sees these new projects as an enabler for a smart and green economy.
