Cordant People awarded ‘Best Newcomer’ at s1 Recruitment Awards
Cordant People has won ‘Best Newcomer’ at the s1 Recruitment Awards.
The company says the award was given in recognition of its growth in Scotland. The business, which launched just 18 months ago, now has four branches in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Stirling and employs 22 permanent recruitment staff.
The s1 Recruitment Awards, organised by s1jobs.com, recognise the best of Scotland’s recruitment businesses and is judged by a panel of senior individuals from both within the sector and the broader local business community.
Cordant People claimed the judges were particularly impressed by its ‘honest people charter’ and the fact that it is one of only a few companies that gives all its temporary workers employed status regardless of the length of assignment. The company was praised for fully engaging with candidates to cultivate a positive experience, resulting in their continued enthusiasm and motivation to work.
James Orr, operations director at Cordant People, said, “We have worked tirelessly to raise our brand profile and develop into an agency of choice for both local clients and candidates. Our ability to create and nurture partnerships with our clients and our candidates, combined with our unrivalled local industry knowledge and our passion for enriching people’s lives, has been fundamental to our success within the Scottish recruitment industry.”
