Customer experience central to recruitment, says Nicoll Curtin

Customer experience is completely central to recruitment, Nicoll Curtin said at a contractor event hosted at its London office last week.

The event, with guest speakers from Paystream and Kingsbridge, included an interactive presentation and Q&A session on changes to HMRC tax legislation, IR35, umbrella companies and the contracting market. The event forms part of several ongoing initiatives by Nicoll Curtin’s customer experience team focused around candidate care.

James Johnson, group CEO of Nicoll Curtin, said, “We regard our contractors as our customers every much as we regard our clients as our customers. This is why we have a customer experience team to back up our consultants. We really want to make sure that we’re continually listening and improving to give our contractors what they want.”

Harry Staniforth, head of customer experience at Nicoll Curtin, commented, “Customer experience should be paramount in any business. I believe in adapting to improve as a person and as a company, events such as this give us a ​real insight into how we can improve the experience we offer to our customers and it’s great to see so many people taking an interest.”

Rochelle Edwards, Nicoll Curtin’s customer experience consultant, added, “In an industry that is centred on providing a service to others, I strongly believe that having a focus on customer experience is essential.”
