Edinburgh-based start-up to focus on Scotland’s water and energy markets
An Edinburgh-based start-up, Cyrus, says it is to become the first Scottish recruitment firm dedicated to the country’s water and energy markets.
The company is the latest brand from Edgar Stewart’s start-up hub in Stockbridge and is being rolled out by Sara Zorriasatein, who is investing £20,000 of her own money in the new venture.
Edgar Stewart, which has already backed two niche recruitment start-ups this year, will match Zorriasatein’s equity to double the investment.
Zorriasatein said, “Not only is it the first of its kind in Scotland, but it goes against the grain of run-of-of-the-mill recruitment consultancy.”
