Glassdoor to hold pay equality roundtable discussion featuring Hilary Clinton
Next week on Tuesday, 12th April, Glassdoor will host a Roundtable Discussion on Pay Equality featuring Hillary Clinton, among other prominent leaders.
Convening in New York City and broadcast live on Glassdoor beginning at 2.30pm GMT, the company says this critical discussion comes at a time when the gender pay gap and issues around salary transparency are top of mind for many Brits, including employees, employers, politicians, celebrities and more.
Recent research from Glassdoor reveals that a significant pay gap remains between women and men — 5.5% in the UK — even after controls for education, work experience, location, industry, job title and company are applied (Read more here on Glassdoor’s research).
To help facilitate a critical conversation around this topic, Glassdoor is partnering with moderator and award-winning journalist, Diane Brady, and the following participants:
· Hillary Clinton, former U.S. Secretary of State, former U.S. Senator, former First Lady
· Robert Hohman, co-founder and CEO, Glassdoor, Inc.
· Lori Nishiura Mackenzie, executive director, Stanford’s Clayman Institute for Gender Research
· Tracy Sturdivant, co-founder & co-executive director of Make It Work
