Nakama launches in NY
Nakama Group plc has opened a New York office, naming Jane Richardson as managing director of the new business.
The launch of Nakama New York Inc. marks the Group’s launch into North America.
The launch is part of the Group’s strategic global expansion plan with five offices already established in cities across Asia and Europe.
Richardson joins Nakama New York from Aquent, a global recruitment and outsourcing firm, where she was director of Strategic Relationships across the UK.
For over 16 years at Aquent, Richardson built and led a successful team of consultants that serviced both temporary and permanent talent for the digital creative, print and marketing sectors.
Richardson will work closely with Paul Goodship, managing director of Nakama London, to grow a specialist team of recruitment consultants to meet market demand in the US.

Market demand and the opportunity for rolling out our services there, is reflected by our launch and success in already signing up a number of top New York agencies with live roles in the full digital and integrated spectrum.
