New owners for South Wales-based agency
Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment (JGR), based in Bridgend and Neath, has new owners.
Daniel Edwards and Hayley Phillips, who have managed the Neath branch of the company for the last 15 years, have bought the company from managing director, Jennifer Griffiths, as she retires after 47 years at the helm.
Griffiths said, “I am delighted that Dan and Hayley are taking over. They have been with JGR for 15 years and I’m confident they will carry forward our strong values and professionalism, honesty and service delivery. The staff already hold them in high regard, which should be the making of an ‘invincible force’ in this industry.
“I am excited by the prospect and I shall watch, with pride, in the wings.”
JGR director, Daniel Edwards, commented, “I can see real potential for the future of JGR. We can build on the fantastic reputation we have within the industry. Jen’s retirement was a catalyst for myself and Hayley to step forward and develop the company and our careers. We’re enthusiastic to maintain and build on the service that JGR is renowned for, due to Jennifer’s hard work ethic within the business.
“This is without a doubt, the most exciting experience that either of us have ever had in our recruitment careers. We reached this point with energy, co-operation and excitement and all with the seal of approval from Jennifer, which has helped give us the confidence to take this step.”
JGR director, Hayley Phillips, added, “When Jen announced her retirement both Dan and I knew that we had to continue building upon the strong brand that Jennifer had worked so hard to establish. We’re lucky to have a team of fantastic, skilled and loyal staff who are the cornerstone of the business and provide the excellent service our clients know and value.
“Jennifer’s support and backing has been hugely important to us, and has provided us with a platform to take us to the next step in our careers, but also to take the company with us.”
Edwards and Phillips will officially begin overseeing the business from Monday 18th April.
