Nicholas Associates Group announces partnership with Dame Kelly Holmes Trust
Nicholas Associates Group and Dame Kelly Holmes Trust (DKHT) have launched a partnership.
They say it recognises their mutual goal to support young disadvantaged people into sustainable employment. The announcement also coincided with the inaugural UK Employability Day on 15th April 2016.
Nicholas Associates Group says the partnership enables its temporary and permanent recruitment agency, Stafforce, to engage with the Trust’s programmes, by offering dedicated employment support to its mentees as they progress through their mentoring journey.
In addition, Nicholas Associates Group has named DKHT as its National Charity of the Year, alongside its International Charity Phase Worldwide, which helps to empower the people of Nepal. The group states that its employees will support fundraising activities.
Nicholas Associates’ chief executive officer, Lisa Gainsford, commented, “We are proud and privileged to be working with Dame Kelly Holmes Trust as a trusted partner in their aim to transform the lives of young people facing disadvantage. Their ethos and values absolutely align to our own purpose, which is to enable people to be their best. We think this is a perfect fit, giving our teams the opportunity to contribute their specialist skills in helping young people to find sustainable employment.”
Nick Cragg, group chairman, added, “Supporting society through charitable giving is an inherent part of our DNA at Nicholas Associates Group, something that we are extremely passionate about. It’s wonderful that we’re able to partner with Dame Kelly Holmes Trust and bring together our joint expertise in such a positive way; that enables and empowers young people to be their best.”
Ben Hilton, head of young people programmes at Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, said, “Our transformational programmes support young people to enhance the attitudes they need to lead a positive life, which includes career success. Providing effective exit routes from our programmes into employment where young people can thrive is an important part of our model and we really value partnerships like the one we have with Nicholas Associates Group. We would not be able to do our work without the support of our partners and are looking forward to the development of this relationship.”
