Q1 2016 turnover up 9% YoY for SYNERGIE
SYNERGIE has announced its results for the first quarter of 2016.
It has reported that its consolidated first-quarter turnover was €437.2m, up 9% from 2015 (8.6% on like-for-like basis and exchange rates).
It says the surge in French business seen at the end of 2015 accelerated in the first quarter of 2016, with growth of 12% representing once again an outperformance of the market (by 7.1% according to the PRISME, that represents and promotes the profession of temporary work). This trend is due to both the investments made in 2015 (recruitment of consultants, launch of the new offer, intensive training activity, etc.) and the more favourable French market context.
In France, Synergie states that the further acceleration of growth will continue over the next few months, in particular through the large number of contracts signed with aircraft manufacturers and shipbuilders, which have full work programmes extending over a number of years.
International growth increased by 6% with the acquisition in February 2016 of the German company CAVALLO, which is expected to generate turnover of €25m this year.
Due to its financial capacity, SYNERGIE is currently considering other acquisitions to develop coverage in Northern Europe.
