SRi board appoints non-executive director
SRi has appointed Martin St Quinton as a non-executive director of its board.
St Quinton became sole owner and chairman of Aviva Premiership side Gloucester Rugby in February after acquiring the remaining 60% of the club's shares. He has considerable experience in the world of business and sport, having served on the board of Epsom Downs racecourse for the past six years, in addition to being a member of The Jockey Club, according to SRi.
The company says that St Quinton will also draw on a wealth of executive experience gained through CEO positions at Chisholms Computers, Azzuri Communications, and Annodata Limited to help guide SRi through a period of expansion into new markets and sectors.
Jim Chaplin, SRi managing director, said, "We're thrilled that Martin is joining our board. He has a tremendous passion for both sport and business and his enthusiasm and experience will be invaluable as we continue our expansion.
"He joins us at a time when we've posted record first quarter results and extended our international head count to over 40 individuals. In 2016, we have already opened offices in Canada and Germany to add to our established bases in the UK, Switzerland, Singapore, China and Australia."
St Quinton added, "I am very excited to become part of the SRi team. Throughout my career I have enjoyed supporting talented and ambitious management teams as they grow their businesses internationally.
"I believe passionately in the future potential of the sports industry and I have been very impressed with the quality of work and the platform that has been built at SRi.
"With their ever-expanding global network and deep commitment to client and candidate care, I look forward to supporting SRi's role in becoming a key and increasingly influential catalyst in the transformation of the industry."
