Staffline’s non-executive director to step down

Staffline has announced that Dame Christine Braddock has notified the Board of her intention to step down from her role as non-executive director at this year's Annual General Meeting on 19th May 2016.

Braddock has taken on the chairmanship of both The Birmingham Children's Hospital and the Birmingham Women's Hospital as they move towards merger and major redevelopment. Staffline says this will restrict her availability to spend time in the business and so Braddock feels that she needs to step down at the end of her term.

The Group states that it intends to appoint a new non-executive director and an external search process to find a new non-executive director will now commence. A further announcement will be made as appropriate in due course.

Andy Hogarth, CEO of Staffline, commented, "I would like to thank Christine for her valuable advice and contribution to Staffline during her time on the Board. On behalf of the Board, I would also like to wish her every success for the future."
