Write Research Company appoints head of energy and industrial practice
Write Research Company has appointed Malcolm Carr as its head of energy and industrial practice.
Carr joins from Carbon60 where he held the role of operations director for the managed services division specialising in the aviation, defence, government and engineering sectors. He has worked in the recruitment sector since 1998 and previously held agency and in-house recruitment roles at Hays and Matchtech.
Managing director of Write Research Company, Alison Ettridge, said, “I am thrilled that Malcolm has come on board. He has much to offer Write Research in terms of client relationship development and his background means he brings a completely new perspective. Having worked in traditional recruitment for many years, he has a genuine interest in finding a better way to help clients understand and attract the people they need.”
Carr commented, “I am driven to help organisations move away from standard web or database searches provided by recruitment firms, and Write Research has clearly demonstrated that there is a better way to help organisations identify top talent.
“Under Alison’s leadership and with the backing of Capita Plc, I think we are uniquely positioned to help clients break the costly cycle of reactive recruiting, and to transform their talent acquisition strategies. I am delighted to have joined Write Research.”
