Ex Cordant People recruiter has high hopes for new agency
A young Teesside recruitment entrepreneur wants to open branches of his new firm across the North and beyond - after securing two major contracts in his first week.
26-year-old Dom Nelson is aiming for Jazz Personnel to be known across the North and UK, after winning two key contracts in week one of the business.
Dom Nelson, 26, was a top performing consultant across the North-east and Scotland for recruitment agency Cordant People, working with clients from a multi-million-pound land and estates company to leaders in digital and logistics sectors.
After deciding to go it alone, he has now established Jazz Personnel, based in Middlesbrough, which specialises in office support, digital, and sales and marketing, accountancy and finance.
He told the Gazette he is, “relishing the prospect” of running his own business and he’s “very confident” of winning more work.
He said, “Our initial contract wins mean we’re already working as a recruitment partner for some of the biggest names in the North-East business scene.
“We’re in talks that I’m very confident will result in us securing further deals with other well-known brands.
“I now have massive ambitions for Jazz Personnel, with long-term plans to expand and open offices in different locations across the north of England and beyond.”
