Four UHY Hacker Young employees recognised in Accountancy Age’s 35 under 35
Four of UHY Hacker Young’s employees have been named in the Accountancy Age’s 35 under 35, a list of some of the best and talented accounting young professionals in the UK.
Marie Pegram, associate, was one of those recognised. Alongside director, Stuart Hutchison, the company says she has successfully developed a unique sector focused campaign through which the UHY offices in the East of England are now offering services to more than 70 recruitment businesses and looking to develop their offering nationally.
Pegram began her career at UHY Hacker Young in August 2008, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in September 2011. In the autumn of 2013, she was presented with an opportunity to work alongside Hutchison on a fledgling project offering services to the recruitment industry. This has now developed to be one of the fastest growing services at UHY Hacker Young, according to the company.
Hutchison commented, “Marie’s passion is infectious. Without her drive, determination and support over the last three years we would not be where we are today.”
The others recognised were partners, Elliot Buss (Newport) and David Kendrick (Manchester), and audit senior, Victoria Niven (Scotland).
