Lawspeed to un-confuse tax at London seminar
Lawspeed has announced a “Taxing Times?” seminar will take place in London on Thursday 16th June, with the aim to un-confuse tax for recruitment agencies and umbrella companies.
The company says that businesses in the recruitment sector are becoming increasingly confused by new tax changes imposed by the government from spring 2016, with yet more changes expected for 2017.
According to Lawspeed, this half day morning seminar is designed to clarify the new tax laws and provides practical advice to help businesses understand their obligations and how to protect against risks and liabilities regarding: agency tax (Section 44-47 ITEPA), Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), travel & subsistence expenses tax relief, Managed Service Company (MSC) legislation, IR35, limited company models, public v private sector, offshore companies, liability, and which contracts to use.
