Parity Group launches consultancy services
At Parity Group PLC’s Annual General meeting today, Lord Freeman, non-executive chairman, said its core businesses were performing well and trading was in line with expectations, enabling it to launch new services.
Lord Freeman said, "The strong momentum seen at the start of the current year, and detailed at the time of our full year results in March 2016, has continued across our core businesses, Parity Professionals and Parity Consultancy Services. Trading is in line with the Board's expectations for the full year ended 31 December 2016."
Parity said it is now creating additional consultancy services for customers, thereby building on the momentum seen in Parity Professionals.
The Group said with these new services, Parity is now able to analyse and predict customer's requirements for critical skills and help them assess their capability to fulfil these requirements in the medium to long term; and work with the customer to tailor solutions to meeting these needs, including where necessary, the acquisition of people, development of capability and delivery of projects.
The Group stated it will initially offer its new services to markets where it has presence, experience and which are undergoing significant change. The specific areas where Parity consistently identify customers' skills gaps are: Digital and Cloud-based technical skills; Project Management; particularly related to Agile development; Business Intelligence and Master Data Management; and Security and cyber skills.
The Group commented its vision is to be a one-stop shop for customers and the consultancy offerings it is developing will help realise that vision.
The Group confirmed there has been no material change to its financial position since the publication of its audited preliminary results on 17th March 2016.
