Spencer Ogden expands UK team
Spencer Ogden has hired new senior managers for three key areas of the business.
Thom Bowen has taken charge of Spencer Ogden’s renewable energy department, Matthew Vesty now serves as the company’s engineering manager, and Zoe Lane oversees the built environment team.
Spencer Ogden says all three new hires offer substantial experience in staffing, having worked for global consultancies such as Morgan McKinley and Hays, and will play a significant part in driving the company forward.
Vesty, who has spent six years in oil and gas recruitment, commented, “The setup at Spencer Ogden is out of this world, and I’m delighted to be leading the engineering department in the next phase of this great adventure. I have the utmost respect for what David and the team has accomplished here, and I look forward to being part of it going forward.”
Spencer Ogden confirmed the three appointments form a key part of Spencer Ogden’s global, multi-year growth strategy, which will see further hires in its automotive, built environment, and rail divisions in the near future.
Spencer Ogden also announces the launch of its new website as part of its strategy: it allows candidates to search by skills that are transferable across every sector the company recruits for, enabling them to broaden or narrow their search as they see fit. Spencer Ogden’s new jobseeking app will make this process even easier: prospective hires will be able to search for skills-based vacancies on the go.
David Spencer-Percival, chiefe executive of Spencer Ogden, commented, “Great recruitment starts at home. We’ve assembled a world-beating team here at Spencer-Ogden: the sheer quality of our internal hires speaks directly to the progress we’ve made as a company. I can’t wait to see what Zoe, Tom, and Matthew can do.
“I’m also extremely pleased that we’ve got our new website off the ground: it’ll make Spencer Ogden even easier to work with for clients and candidates alike.”
